The purpose of the Ethics Channel is for employees, clients, suppliers and/or third parties to be able to report inappropriate behavior, acts against GIF’s Code of Ethics and Conduct, or any unethical action or situation that may affect the company’s interests.
The types of incidents that can be reported are wide-ranging, including (but not limited to): violations of corporate policies and procedures (such as the Code of Ethics and Conduct, Anti-Corruption Policy, among others); violations of legal aspects; financial fraud/operational fraud; labor matters regarding employees and employment (such as harassment, discrimination, mistreatment, among others); and theft of confidential information or data.
Complaints are received and processed by a specialized external partner and made available to an internal company committee, thereby guaranteeing total independence and objectivity.
